This is the birth box I painted for Ellie, who is now just over 3 months old and (of course) beautiful.Her birth record is on the bottom of the box, and my name is inside the lid.
One very good thing about recording history information on porcelain, is that it will last for ever. It will never fade or wear out, and it will even survive a fire . Of course it could break but then it could be mended also.
I wonder what it will look like, and where it will be in a hundred years time?
