This plate was painted at a school I attended in Wellington (the capitol city of New Zealand) with Tatiana Agoritsas of Switzerland.She was a delightful teacher, patient, kind and generous with her knowledge.
Unfortunately this plate broke on the first fire in the kiln, so I stuck it together with I Relief and then did some scrolls to sort of cover the brokeness. The break is from 8 o'clock to 1 o'clock.
I wasn't brave to risk yet another fire, so the lustre background hasn't been done. I don't mind the white background though - it makes a nice contrast.
