Roses on a flat oblong plate

I wanted to paint this simple design so it looked like it was framed and sitting on another frame, which was sitting on a plate!  

Another Cup and Saucer!

This dear little cup (just 2 and 1/2" high) and saucer was painted last week, with paints, ground lay border, pen work and ivory lustre.     It has a narrow band of gold around the edge of the saucer, and roses out of my garden sitting inside the cup!  I love this look.     :-)   At present it is sitting in the middle of my dining room table so Jim and I can enjoy looking at it.
