Another class I took with Tatiana at the same school was painting this poppy.
It was a new experience for me to paint using just fat oil to mix the powder initially, and then this was thinned with lavender oil. The paint glided on so smoothly and made painting this 10" x 8" tile a delight.
There is lustre on the right hand side of the background, and texture and gold over chipped off areas.
One of the things I love about this tile is the vividness of the flowers!
